Amasi Scones

Ingredients

  • 6 cups flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups amasi
  • 250g margarine/Butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup flour for dusting

Method

  1. Rub the flour with margarine until they are incorporated.
  2. Mix all wet ingredients, eggs, sugar, vanilla essence, and Amasi until well combined.
  3. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and add baking powder and combine.
  4. On the table dust with a lot of flour, put the dough, and spread using a rolling pin.
  5. Then put oil that covers half a pot, let it hit up then put the potatoes and fry until they are well cooked to your liking.
  6. Use a cookie cutter or a cup to shape out the scones and place them on a baking tray.
  7. Bake until it's well done, let it cool off, and serve.
